AYAT College of Nursing and Health Sciences (ACNHS) started its journey in 2019 with the vision to improve quality of care for people of Bangladesh. To achieve this, ACNHS focuses on enhancing the overall quality of nursing education and research in Bangladesh. The team at ACNHS strongly believes that in order to improve the quality of care in our country we need to have a very strong group of qualified nurses. Therefore, ACNHS offers continuous capacity development programs for our faculties and students across all the disciplines offered at ACNHS. The Programs offered at ACNHS include Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery, Diploma in Midwifery, BSc in Nursing and BSc in Post Basic Nursing.
ACNHS is a registered nursing college under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and affiliated with University of Dhaka. The courses and curriculum are governed by the regulations of Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC). Additionally, we collaborate with Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Simmons University as our technical partner for research and capacity development.
We welcome students from diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and religious backgrounds to prepare them academically and professionally as competent and compassionate nurse leaders, who are lifelong learners, and who possess the moral courage to continuously promote the health and well being of individuals and communities.
