What an exhilarating celebration of International Nurses Day 2024 at AYAT College of Nursing & Health Sciences!
Our day commenced with a spirited rally, honoring the legacy of Florence Nightingale and reflecting on the noble path she paved for us.
We were privileged to welcome esteemed guests Ms. Jurate Smalskyte Merville, Counsellor and Team Leader – Education, Human Development & Public Finance Management, European Union in Bangladesh; Ms. Tanjilut Tasnuba, Senior Programme Officer, International Labour Organization; and Ms. Anne Drong, National Project Coordinator, Care Work, ILO. Their presence brought immense joy to our college community.
During their visit, our guests explored the AYAT Care Training Institute (ACTI) and gained insights into our caregiver training program. They graciously listened to the experiences and journeys of our caregivers. Additionally, they had the opportunity to witness the Skill Fair and Food & Nutrition Fair organized by our nursing students. To enrich their visit with cultural vibrancy, our talented students delighted them with captivating cultural performances.
This unforgettable experience will forever be cherished in our hearts. We extend our sincere gratitude to our guests for gracing us with their presence and celebrating the day with our nursing students and faculty.
